版画紙と雁皮紙（薄茶のうすい和紙の一種）の間に色和紙などをはさみ、同時にエッチングで刷りあげる技法で、「ラミネート」は吉原英里さんオリジナルのよび名です。上記２作品の場合、色の部分（ブルーや赤）は和紙がはさまれています。

"Laminate" is the original name of Eri Yoshihara, a technique in which colored Japanese paper is sandwiched between print paper and ganpishi (a type of light brown thin Japanese paper) and then printed by etching at the same time. In the case of the above two works, the colored parts (blue and red) are Japanese paper.
